Attendance

Mrs. Craven asked that I address the issue of attendance. In the first 45 days of school, there were only 14 days of perfect attendance. (Perfect attendance= all 22 students in class and on time.) Of course, there are some unavoidable absences such as family emergencies, funerals, etc. However, as much as possible, plan trips and appointments around the school schedule.

Students are offered incentives (prizes) for perfect attendance milestones. A few weeks ago they reached the 10-day goal and are currently working toward a 20-day goal. Let’s help them reach that goal quickly and hopefully improve the attendance ratio at the same time.

Our class alone brought in $150!!
Quite a payoff for taking the time to cut labels. :)
